Harry Fotopoulos is a Certified Management Accountant and MBA in Finance, and a student of the financial markets. Everyone in the markets is a student – though some are more determined than others. The market is the teacher.
This blog has two purposes: first, to impose some disciplined thinking on myself, as an investor, through the process of writing. The second purpose is to elicit feedback, especially critical feedback, to challenge my thinking.
The blog presents my views on the markets, and from time to time I will disclose my own investment activities. My approach is top-down, macro driven analysis.
We’ll try to keep things simple, adhering to foundational principles, while avoiding the type of complexity that only tends to cloud the analytical picture. In the markets, as in life generally, it’s easy to over-think a situation and make mistakes.
